Tokyo Fashion Week

This past week Japan had their 11th annual fashion week. Japan is known for cutting edge technology but in recent years the Japanese fashion has taken notice to the world's stage. The looks were inspirational, whimsical and nostalgic. Tokyo has emerged as a fashion capital. This fashion week was no exception blazing the trail for innovative design.

   Liz Lisa
The Liz Lisa collection was playfully feminine with babydolls and ruffled rompers decorated with colorful silk flowers. The show was youthful, fresh and fun. Think Little Bow Peep gone bad and you have Liz Lisa!

Araisara
Araisara is a powerhouse of structured trenches with unexpected punches of color. The collection played with geometric shapes and stripes.

Somarta
The Somarta show was filled with a euphoria of airy tones of neutral and blues. The show displayed an inspiration of the Greek water goddess, Aphrodite with flowing fabrics, netted skirts and translucent sheers.

Theatre Products

The feeling was very romantic with muted florals and nude fabric tones. The Parisian flair was as intoxicating as a stroll by a French cafe. Theatre Products put on a lovely show with no passport needed.
